1. About these terms
These terms govern your use of this website. By using the site you accept them. If you do not accept them, please do not use the site.
AlloyTechs is a division of Alloy Automotive Partners. In these terms, "we", "us" and "our" mean AlloyTechs.
2. What this site is
This site describes our remote automotive technical support service and gives you a way to reach us. It is marketing material. Nothing on it is an offer capable of acceptance, a quote, or a binding commitment to provide any particular service, turnaround time or result.
Service is provided under a separate agreement between AlloyTechs and your shop. Where anything on this site conflicts with that agreement, the agreement governs.
3. Not a substitute for professional judgment
Our technicians assist qualified automotive professionals. Any diagnosis, recommendation, procedure or programming step discussed during a session is guidance provided to a trained technician who remains responsible for the work performed on the vehicle, for verifying that the vehicle is safe to return to service, and for complying with manufacturer procedures and applicable law.
Module programming carries inherent risk. Interruptions to power or network connectivity during a flash can damage a control module. You are responsible for maintaining a stable vehicle power supply and a stable connection during any programming session.
4. The shop portal
The AlloyTechs shop portal at alloy.collabtic.com is a separate platform with its own terms and its own privacy practices. These terms do not govern it. Keep your portal credentials confidential and tell us promptly if you believe they have been compromised.
5. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- use the site for any unlawful purpose;
- attempt to gain unauthorised access to the site, its server, or any connected system;
- interfere with the site's normal operation, including by automated scraping that places an unreasonable load on it;
- copy, republish or resell the site's content without our written permission.
6. Intellectual property
The content, layout, design and marks on this site belong to AlloyTechs or its licensors. Vehicle manufacturer names and marks shown on this site are the property of their respective owners and are used only to describe the vehicles we support. Their use does not imply any affiliation with, endorsement by, or authorisation from those manufacturers.
7. Third-party links
The site links to sites we do not control, including the shop portal and alloyautomotive.com. We are not responsible for their content or their practices.
8. Availability
We try to keep the site available and accurate, but we do not guarantee that it will be uninterrupted, error free, or current. We may change or withdraw any part of it at any time without notice.
9. Disclaimers and limits
To the fullest extent permitted by law, the site is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for lost profits or lost business, arising out of your use of this site. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
10. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas, without regard to its conflict of laws rules. The courts located in Texas have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute arising from them.
11. Changes
We may update these terms. The version posted here is the one that applies, and the date at the top shows when it last changed.
