Privacy policy
Who we are
AlloyTechs provides remote automotive technical support to independent repair shops. AlloyTechs is a division of Alloy Automotive Partners. This policy covers this website only. It does not cover the AlloyTechs shop portal at alloy.collabtic.com, which is operated on a separate platform under its own terms.

What this site collects
This website has no contact form, no account creation and no newsletter signup. We do not ask you to type anything into it. The only information that reaches us through the site itself is what your browser sends automatically when it requests a page.
Server logs
Our web server records standard request data: IP address, date and time, the page requested, the referring page, and your browser and operating system. We use these logs to keep the site running, diagnose errors and detect abuse. They are not used to build a profile of you.
Information you send us directly
If you call the number on this site or email us, we receive whatever you choose to tell us: your name, your shop, your phone number or email, and the vehicle or repair you are asking about. We use that information to answer you and to provide the service you asked for. Phone calls may be recorded or monitored for quality and training, and you will be told at the start of the call if that applies.
Cookies and tracking
This site sets no cookies of its own and runs no analytics or advertising trackers at the time of writing.
It does load fonts from Google Fonts. That request tells Google your IP address and basic browser information, as it would for any site using the service. Google's handling of that data is described in the Google privacy policy.
If we later add advertising conversion tracking or web analytics, this section will be updated to name each tool and explain what it collects before it goes live.
Advertising
We may run ads on Google and Meta that link to this site. Those platforms may record that you clicked an ad. That happens on their systems under their own policies, and it is not something this site controls. You can manage what Google shows you at My Ad Center and what Meta shows you in your Meta account ad preferences.
Sharing
We do not sell or rent personal information. We share it only:
- with service providers who host the site or handle our phone and email, and only so they can perform that work;
- within Alloy Automotive Partners, where needed to serve your shop;
- when the law requires it, or to protect our rights, our people or the public.
How long we keep things
Server logs are kept for a limited operational period and then rotated out. Correspondence and service records are kept as long as we do business with your shop, and afterwards for as long as tax, warranty and legal obligations require.
Security
The site is served over HTTPS. We take reasonable measures to protect the information we hold, though no method of transmission or storage is completely secure.
Your choices
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to ask what personal information we hold about you, to have it corrected, or to have it deleted. Texas residents have these rights under the Texas Data Privacy and Security Act. To make a request, email [email protected]. We will verify who you are before acting, and we will not treat you differently for asking.
Children
This is a business-to-business service. It is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect information from them.
Changes
If this policy changes we will post the new version here and update the date at the top. Material changes will be described in this section.
